After 50 years fasting from Eurovision, the Czech finally came to their musical senses and joined the global–at least Europe– “sleazy” (*) contest. Last year, I was awfully shocked, confused and offended that my boyfriend had no idea what Eurovision was. From then on, whenever I had a chance, I educated him about this “amazingly” cool aspect of his European culture. Some how, I think the Eurovision virus got to him; he reported to me everything happening with Czech Eurovision.

Anyway, I thought that when they [the Czech] make a return to the Eurovision, they would have boasted a grand performance, something oh-so-magnificent sort of song. But noooooooooo!

They chose a rock band and a rock song, written in Czech and should I say “suck.” I will be very surprised if it makes to the top ten. When this does happen, I probably sing on Youtube. Hahaha.
